Linda Gannaway The Power of Life Lessons Header

Here's a little about me . . .

Linda Gannaway has always been fascinated with learning. She received her doctorate in education, an Ed.D. in counselor education, from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. She also completed a pre-doctoral internship in counseling and clinical psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.

Certified as an educational examiner, Dr. Gannaway tested students in the public schools who had learning difficulties and identified ways they could improve. That experience gave her a hands-on, in-depth understanding of how we learn and how we get stuck in the learning process.

Linda also worked more than twenty-five years at several universities as a personal counselor, administrator, and instructor. She taught classes to thousands of students on basic life skills such as time management, procrastination, stress management, and learning life’s lessons. In addition, she has extensive experience in the areas of goal setting, relaxation, guided imagery, and sports improvement.

Linda currently enjoys writing, speaking, and consulting. She lives in California’s Central Valley with two rescue cats, a rescue turtle, and a delightful talking parrot named McKee.

Learning our lessons helps us improve our lives. And since learning never ends, that means we'll always have opportunities to enrich our lives and the lives of others. By figuring out how to learn our lessons in life, we can accelerate our growth and success."
